- License to Publish: Upon acceptance, authors grant JHAS a non-exclusive license to publish, distribute, and archive their article.
- Freedom to Share: Authors are free to reproduce and distribute their work in any format, provided the original publication in JHAS is properly cited.
2. Licensing Framework
Under the CC BY 4.0 license, users are free to:
- Share: Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
- Adapt: Remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial use.
- Attribution: Users must give appropriate credit to the work published in JHAS, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.
3. Author Rights
- Self-Archiving: Authors may self-archive their published articles in institutional repositories, personal websites, or academic platforms (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu, and Google Scholar).
- Reuse of Material: Authors may reuse figures, tables, and text from their JHAS articles in future works, provided proper attribution is given to the original JHAS publication.
4. Third-Party Content
- Authors must ensure that any third-party content (e.g., specific maps, proprietary datasets, or complex illustrations) included in their submission complies with copyright regulations and that written permission has been obtained where necessary.
5. Publisher Rights & Archiving
- JHAS reserves the right to maintain and archive all published content in digital repositories and indexing databases.
- The journal is committed to long-term digital preservation to ensure perpetual availability of horticultural research.
6. Plagiarism and Ethics
- Authors must submit original research free of plagiarism.
- Allegations of copyright infringement or plagiarism will be investigated according to the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics)
