  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

  • Figures: Submit figures as separate high-resolution files (JPEG, PNG, or TIFF). Ensure all figures are properly labeled and numbered. Include figure legends at the end of the manuscript.
  • Tables: Tables should be included in the manuscript file, numbered consecutively, and titled. Provide explanatory footnotes as necessary.
  1. Ethical Considerations
  • Originality: Manuscripts must represent original research that has not been published or submitted elsewhere. Plagiarism will not be tolerated.
  • Ethical Approval: For studies involving human or animal subjects, provide a statement of ethical approval from the relevant institutional review board (IRB) or ethics committee.
  • Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the research or interpretation of the findings.
  1. Peer Review Process
  • Initial Screening: Upon submission, the manuscript will be screened for adherence to the journal’s guidelines and scope. Manuscripts that do not meet the requirements will be returned to the authors for revision.
  • Peer Review: Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will be subjected to a double-blind peer review process by at least two independent reviewers. The identity of both the reviewers and authors will remain anonymous.
  • Revision and Decision: Based on the reviewers’ feedback, the manuscript may be accepted, accepted with minor revisions, accepted with major revisions, or rejected. Authors will be given a specific timeline to address any revisions.
  1. Copyright and Licensing
  • Copyright Transfer: Upon acceptance, authors will be required to transfer copyright to the journal. However, authors retain the right to share and distribute their published work with appropriate citation.
  • Open Access: The journal operates under an open-access policy, allowing free access to published articles. Authors may need to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) to cover publication costs.

Note: An Article Processing Charge (APC) of PKR 10,000 for national authors and $35 for international authors will be applicable from January 2025 to August 2025. The APC notification will be sent upon manuscript acceptance. Thereafter, the same APC will be charged as specified in the Publication Fee section.

  • Authorship: All authors listed on the manuscript should have made a significant contribution to the research and approve the final version for submission.
  • Data Availability: Authors are encouraged to make their data publicly available in a recognized repository. A data availability statement should be included in the manuscript.
